Can I bring a dog?

Yes, we love having dogs in the pub and the garden however we don’t allow them in the main dining room. If you would like to book with a dog please put a note on your booking and we will seat you in the pub, we serve the same menu in both areas so you won’t miss out if you sit in the pub.

Do you cater for all dietary requirements, allergies & vegans?

Yes, please put a note on your booking and the chefs will design a menu suitable for your requirements on the day.

Please note - Afternoon Tea bookings with Dietary Requirements must be booked in advance

Do you allow children?

Yes, we are a family business and we welcome all members of your family. We can do small versions of most of our mains for kids (the pub classics are particularly popular)

Should I Book a Taxi?

Yes, it can be a little tricky to get taxis at the last minute in Chew Magna we always recommend booking your taxis in advance particularly on weekend nights, we can recommend

Can we drop in for a drink?

Yes, as long as we aren’t closed for a private event you are always welcome for a walk in the garden and/or a drink.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have parking on both sides of the restaurant, it can fill up quickly when we are busy so please park carefully. If you do block someone in please let the host know your registration number so they can find you if it needs to be moved.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Yes, parked at owners risk, we take no responsibility for damage or theft and all cars left overnight must be removed by 10:30am the following day.

Do you have disabled access?

We have one step to get into the pub and a disabled toilet on that level. Unfortunately we haven’t access to the disabled toilet from the main dining room however you can enter the main dining room from the car park with no steps.

Purchasing & booking with a voucher.

You can purchase gift vouchers here, vouchers for the cookery school are only valid in the cookery school and the same for restaurant vouchers. To book into the cookery school with a voucher please email and to book the restaurant with a voucher fill in the form here

Are you open Christmas Day?

No, as a family business its important our staff get to spend Christmas and Boxing day with their families, we re-open on the 27th.

Are you open New Years Eve?

We are open for lunch on New Years Eve and New Years Day, returning to our regular opening hours on the 3rd of January.
